Training Options from CCS

Corporate Compliance Seminars (CCS) provides a variety of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) training events for auditing, accounting and compliance professionals. These events are designed to help professionals stay up-to-date with the latest standards, methodologies, industry developments and best practices. CCS events include:

Criteria for Great CPE Events

A CPE event is considered excellent if it meets the following criteria:

  1. Relevance: The event should be relevant to the attendees' professional needs and provide them with practical, up-to-date information that they can apply in their work.

  2. Quality of speakers: The event should feature knowledgeable and experienced speakers who can deliver engaging and informative presentations.

  3. Interactive format: The event should provide opportunities for attendees to engage with speakers and other attendees through interactive activities and discussions.

  4. Well-organized: The event should be well-organized and run smoothly, with clear schedules and agendas, and adequate time for breaks and networking.

  5. Good networking opportunities: The event should provide opportunities for attendees to network with their peers and make connections in their field.

  6. Attention to the attendee's needs: The event should take into account the attendee's learning styles, preferences, and needs and provide the appropriate resources and support

  7. Continuing Education Credits: The event should provide attendees with the opportunity to earn continuing education credits that are recognized by professional organizations.

Principal with Infotech Global, a provider of audit, compliance, IT and training services from Chicago, IL area. With over 20 years of experience, he is an expert in internal control, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and information technology. He has assisted numerous companies, from startups to multinationals, improve their operations by strengthening their internal control programs and complying with Sarbanes-Oxley, as well as providing IT auditing, computer security and fraud prevention training.

Elliot A. Fisch, CPA, CIA, CFE, CFF, CGMA, CRMA, MBA 

Over 30 years experience in internal audit, corporate compliance, ethics, fraud reviews, and financial and project management in the corporate, government and consulting sectors. He has extensive experience in the compliance discipline, with significant responsibilities to oversee relations with various governmental authorities.

Seasoned former audit practitioner, with more than 45 years in the profession. After heading SWIFT, Inc.'s US-based audit team for more than 10 years, he served as Internal Audit (IA) Quality Assurance & Improvement Program (QAIP) Manager from April 2014 until his retirement in June 2018.

 

Prior to joining SWIFT, Dave spent more than seven years as a Client Service Director with Pricewaterhouse Coopers' US Federal Government practice, where he focused on providing oversight and direction to large and/or complex automated information systems controls testing projects in various major Federal departments and agencies.
