Vendor Management Training Week

CCS is providing a classroom training week on the best practices for vendor management including SSAE SOC audits, vendor risk assessment, vendor audits and continuous monitoring.

Managing vendor risk is an ongoing process. As your organization looks at this process, you want to put in place a comprehensive vendor management program that covers the major risks.

An organization's vendor management program must evaluate, track and measure third-party risk. Risks presentated by vendors must be assessed for the impact on all aspects of the organization. The internal control framework must contain internal controls or other forms of mitigation to reduce the risks to an acceptable level. These seminars will give the attendee insights into managing vendors and how to improve the sharing of risk information within an organization.

Four keys to successful vendor risk management are:

- Utilize the best methods for identifying risks,
- Develop effective strategies that manages all vendors,
- Align vendor controls within an internal control framework,
- Implement ongoing oversight utilizing metrics and internal audits.

This week of training allows the attendee to structure their training to specific needs. We are offering the following stand-alone seminars:

- SSAE SOC Audits: Auditee - Auditor - Assessor (24 CPEs)
- Improving Risk Identification & Management (4 CPEs)
- Role of Internal Audit in Procurement (4 CPEs)
- Continuous Auditing and Monitoring (8 CPEs)

Audits of "SOC" (Service Organization Controls) will be governed starting on May 1, 2017 by the application of "SSAE" (Statement of Standards for Attestation Engagements) 18. This new AICPA Standard replaces SSAE 16, just as SSAE 16 replaced SAS 70.

Learn the best practices for preparing, conducting and assessing audit reports under SSAE 18 Auditing Standard. This program takes a hard look at Service Organization Controls (SOC).

We limit all seminars to the first ten paid signups. We focus on the individuals that are in attendance and their learning needs.

A Registration Form is required. Please use the "SIGN-UP NOW!" button in the right margin to access the Registration Form and then payment processing.
