Using COSO for Compliance & SOX Training Weeks

CCS is providing a classroom training week on the best practices concerning using the COSO Internal Control framework and SOX compliance.

This week of internal control training will help the professional understand the ins and outs of internal control frameworks and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. The attendees will learn how to approach an internal control framework and assess its effectivenes. The training focuses on how to prepare for, perform, report, and close an assessment of internal control.

This week of training allows the attendee to structure their training to their specific needs. We are offering the following stand-alone seminars:

- Using COSO 2013 for Compliance & SOX (24 CPEs)
- Improving Risk Identification & Management (4 CPEs)
- Managing Corporate Cultural Change (4 CPEs)
- "Frauditing" Fraud Detection & Prevention (8 CPEs)

Enhancing and assessing an effective system of internal control can be challenging. , and adapting to rapidly changing business models, new technologies, or globalization requires a system to be agile. An internal control system requires the use of judgment to monitor and assess its effectiveness, and it must provide insight on the application of controls.

This new training week, through a blend of subjects, live classroom training, and exposure to experts, offers a unique opportunity to develop an expertise in designing, implementing, and conducting assessments of an effective internal control framework.

The combination of the above seminars covers the following internal control skills:

- Embracing the principles-based internal controls approach,
- Understanding how controls need to be integrated,
- Improving risk identification skills,
- Developing an effective internal control framework,
- Learn from experts and share your experiences with your peers,
- Enabling change in an organization.

We limit all seminars to the first ten paid signups. We focus on the individuals who are in attendance and their learning needs.

A Registration Form is required. Please use the "SIGN-UP NOW!" button in the right margin to access the Registration Form and then payment processing.
