Cybersecurity Assessment Tool Training
Are you at the right level of maturity for your Cybersecurity Risk Mangement Risk activities?
This CPE event is consistent with the principles of the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool 2017. This FFIEC tool was developed using the FFIEC Information Technology Examination Handbook (IT Handbook) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, as well as industry accepted cybersecurity practices.
The FFIEC Assessment provides banking institutions with a repeatable and measurable process to inform their management of the institution's risks and cybersecurity preparedness. The FFIEC Assessment consists of two parts: Inherent Risk Profile and Cybersecurity Maturity.
The Inherent Risk Profile identifies the banking institution's inherent risk before implementing internal controls. The Cybersecurity Maturity includes domains, assessment factors, components, and individual declarative statements across five maturity levels to identify specific controls and practices that are in place. While management can determine the banking institution's maturity level in each domain.
This training program focuses on how to address using the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool within the banking institution. The attendees will be prepared to evaluate the current state of their institutions cybersecurity program.
This comprehensive training course is for anyone who wants to have a strong base of knowledge and understanding of the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool and its use within a banking institution.
